Limestone is a relatively young, sedimentary rock composed of calcite or dolomite. Limestone features a matte, granular surface in earth-toned hues and is gorgeous both indoors and out. Inside, we should use limestone on the floors and on the walls. Outside, it is important to install limestone on the walls only. It is not recommended to use limestone on countertops because it is more porous than marble slabs.
